First-Timers Guide to the Exumas:

alt

Comprised of 365 cays—a new cay to explore each day of the year, the Exuma Island chain stretches 90 miles across the southern Bahamas. A mix of uninhabited cays and small, friendly communities, the Exumas boast gin-clear water, secure anchorages and a laid back lifestyle. Many believe that the Exuma Cays form the most exquisite cruising ground in the western hemisphere. Some highlights of cruising theExumas include stops at the Exuma Land and Sea Park, Staniel Cay and George Town. This 3-partwebinar will cover passage planning from Florida to the Exumas, weather, Customs and Immigration, eyeball navigation, anchorages, facilities and services, recreational opportunities and more. We'll meet online on Mondays - Sept. 10, 17 and 24 at 8 p.m. EDST (00:00 GMT).

Thanks for the excellent classes on "First-Timers Guide to the Exumas".

The class was packed with very useful and how-to-do it information. Even for those locations I probably will not get to it was great to live vicarously and just enjoy.

Some of us could benefit from a similar course or courses on the Northern Islands. To be sure, customs, anchoring, etc would be a repeat, but where to go what to do? I get bits and pieces from people that have been here or there, and study the guides, but none of that can compare from someone that has actually been to most the places, and says go here -- there, or if a front is coming through stay away.

Thanks again for a very well thought out and illustrated presentations.
